Application Instructions

To apply for the Battalion Chief Earl Dyer Jr. Memorial Scholarship, students must write an essay or create a video reflecting on a volunteer experience they had with a specific community organization. The experience should highlight their commitment to service and its impact on others.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must meet the following requirements:

• Be a full-time student

• Have a minimum GPA of 3.0

• Show evidence of community engagement through volunteerism or public service

• Submit two letters of recommendation from individuals familiar with their academic work or community service

• Complete and submit the application form
